WU Yifan,GUAN Qingyi,YANG Panpan,MA Mengzhen,FAN Yanyan Show Abstract Online reading
Objective: To translate the Patient Participation Preferences Assessment(PPPA) into Chinese, and to test its reliability and validity. Methods: The scale was translated according to the Brislin translation model, and the Chinese version of PPPA was developed through translated, back translation, and cultural adaptation.A total of 520 patients with heart failure who were hospitalized in the department of cardiology of 2 tertiary grade A hospitals in Yantai city from July to November 2021 were selected for questionnaire survey to test the reliability and validity. Results: The Chinese version of PPPA include 3 dimensions(communication and participation, willingness and preference and desire for information) and 17 items. The item ⁃level content validity index(I⁃CVI) ranged from 0.833 to 1.000.The the scale⁃content validity index(S⁃CVI)was 0.824.Exploratory factor analysis extracted 3 common factors, and the cumulative contribution rate of variance was 77.130%.The results of confirmatory factor analysis show that the three⁃factor model was well⁃fitted. The Cronbach's α coefficient of the scale was 0.958.The total test⁃retest reliability coefficient was 0.929. Conclusions: The Chinese version of PPPA has good reliability and validity, which can be used to test the participation preferences of patients with chronic heart failure.

Objective: To investigate the current situation and risk factors of subsyndromal delirium in elderly patients after thoracoscopic surgery,so as to provide theoretical basis for medical staffs to formulate preventive measures of postoperative subsyndromal delirium. Methods: Elderly patients who underwent elective thoracoscopic surgery in the thoracic surgery department of 2 tertiary grade A hospitals in Luzhou city from May to November 2021 were selected as the study objects.Subdelirium was assessed by the Confusion Assessment Method(CAM) from 19:00 to 22:00 every day after surgery until delirium occurred or the patient was discharged.General data questionnaire,Barthel Index(BI),Self⁃Rating Depression Scale (SDS),Self⁃Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self⁃Rating Scale of Sleep(SRSS),Number Rating Scale(NRS),Charlson Comorbidity Index were used to collect preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative information of patients. Results: A total of 320 elderly patients underwent thoracoscopic surgery were enrolled. There were 114 elderly patients with subsyndromal delirium, accounting to 35.6%.Binary Logistic regression analysis showed that age, preoperative hospital stay,SDS scores and postoperative pain were risk factors for subsyndromal delirium in elderly patients after thoracoscopic surgery, postoperative sleep time is a protective factor for subsyndromal delirium in elderly patients after thoracoscopic surgery. Conclusions: The incidence of subdelirium syndrome in elderly patients after thoracoscopic surgery was high, and there was risk of developing delirium.Medical staff should focus on the risk factors of the occurrence of subdelirium syndrome after thoracoscopic surgery in elderly patients, and develop the identification, prevention and intervention measures for high⁃risk patients.

Objective: To develop the symptom assessment scale for patients with end⁃stage liver disease, and to test its reliability and validity. Methods: Based on the symptom experience model, the initial item pool was established according to the methods of literature review and semi⁃structured interview. After Delphi expert consultation, the initial scale was formed.A total of 334 patients with end⁃stage liver disease who were hospitalized in the department of gastroenterology of a tertiary grade A hospital in Hebei province were selected to test the reliability and validity. Results: The final version of symptom assessment scale for patients with end⁃stage liver disease included 7 dimensions, involving 23 items. The item⁃content validity index(I⁃CVI) ranged from 0.833 to 1.000,and scale⁃content validity index(S⁃CVI)was 0.971.The exploratory factor analysis(EFA) extracted 7 common factors, and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 62.556%.Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the model fitted well. The Cronbach 's α coefficient of the scale was 0.859,the split⁃half reliability was 0.827,and the test⁃retest reliability was 0.848. Conclusion: The symptom assessment scale for patients with end⁃stage liver disease had good reliability and validity, which could be used to evaluate the symptom burden of patients with end⁃stage liver disease.

Objective: To revise the traditional Chinese version of the Social Impact Scale(SIS),and to test its reliability and validity. Methods: Following Beaton's cultural adjustment guide, and using Delphi expert letter consultation method for cultural adjustment, the simplified Chinese version of SIS was developed.A questionnaire survey was conducted on 417 cancer patients by convenience sampling to evaluate the reliability and validity of the simplified Chinese version of SIS. Results: The simplified Chinese version of SIS had 4 dimensions and 22 items. The item⁃level content validity index(I⁃CVI) ranged from 0.875 to 1.000,and the average scale⁃content validity index(S⁃CVI)was 0.978.Exploratory factor analysis extracted 4 common factors, and the cumulative contribution rate of variance was 64.040%.The results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the model structure fit well. The total Cronbach's α coefficient of the scale was 0.925,and the Cronbach's α coefficients of each dimension ranged from 0.748 to 0.810.The half coefficient was 0.890.The total test⁃retest reliability coefficient was 0.901. Conclusions: The simplified Chinese version of SIS demonstrated good reliability and validity, which could be used as an assessment tool for assessing the stigma of cancer patients in China.

Objective: To translate the Osteoporosis Preventive Behaviors Scale(OPBS) into Chinese, and to test its reliability and validity. Methods: The English version of OPBS was translated, back⁃translated according to the Brislin model, and the Chinese version of OPBS was formed after cultural adaptation and pre⁃surveyed.A total of 311 people of community residents in Wuhan from November 2022 to January 2023 were investigated to test the reliability and validity of the scale. Results: The Chinese version of OPBS included 4 dimensions and 28 items. The scale level content validity index (S⁃CVI) was 0.970,and the item level content validity index(I⁃CVI) ranged from 0.833 to 1.000.Exploratory factor analysis extracted 4 common factors, and the cumulative contribution rate of variance was 65.867%.The results of confirmatory factor analysis show that the model was well⁃fitted. The Cronbach's α coefficient for the total scale was 0.951,the Cronbach's α coefficients for each dimension were 0.912,0.917,0.927,and 0.890.And the Spearman⁃Brown coefficient was 0.809. Conclusion: The Chinese version of OPBS has good reliability and validity. The scale is suitable for evaluating the level of osteoporosis prevention behavior of community residents.

Objective: To investigate the psychological adaptation level of spouse caregivers for stroke patients in the transition period after discharge, and to analyze its influencing factors. Methods: A total of 237 spouse caregivers of stroke patients were investigated before and after discharge by using the general situation questionnaire, Psychological Adjustment Scale(PAS),Chinese version of Connor⁃Davidson Resilience Scale(CD⁃RISC⁃25) and Mutuality Scale(MS). Results: The PAS scores of spouse caregivers of stroke patients in 1 day before discharge and 1 month,3 months and 6 months after discharge were 60(52,68),61(53,70),67(57,76) and 72(61,80) respectively. The results of generalized estimation equation showed that male spouse, spousal caregiving experience, high mutuality and high resilience were protective factors of PAS scores of spouse caregivers for stroke patients, and family financial burden was a risk factor for PAS scores of spouse caregivers for stroke patients. Conclusions: The psychological adaptation level of the spouse caregivers for stroke patients was increasing after discharge. The mutuality and resilience of spouse caregivers should be improved to improve their psychological adaptation.
